The work of archaeologists for almost a year allowed to document a large archaeological site located on top of a hill where a large rocky solapón used as a stable place of habitat by the bimbaches is located. At the foot of it and protected from the prevailing winds, several stone structures have been located that functioned as garbage dumps in which all kinds of archaeological waste materials, various areas of activity related to the habitat developed there, as well as a large amount of material dispersed in practically the entire surface of the site, are accumulated. The recovered data will allow to reconstruct aspects related to the organization and structuring of the bi-jet habitat space and significantly expand the knowledge of the ancient settlers of El Hierro.
