ote: Named Alexander Severus Emperor at the age of 14, his mother, Julia Avita Mamea, would act temporarily as regent receiving the title of Augusta. However, it would extend its influence later. Considered the power in the shadows, this position earned him such unpopularity that led to his assassination and that of his son during a military rebellion near Mainz, Germany. Julia Mame[IVLIA MAMAEA]a, entitled Augusta,[AVG] was depicted in this denario accompanied by the goddess Juno, queen of the goddesses, as savior, protector and liberating[IVNO CONSERVATRIX].
